The purpose of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as: the "Policy") is to set forth the rules and actions regarding the collection, processing and protection of personal data collected through our website gnlaw.pl, to set forth the rules for the use of cookies, as well as to set out the rules for the use of the gnlaw.pl website.

1. Definitions

  1. Controller - the Controller of your personal data is Grzywaczewski Kancelaria Prawna sp. k. with its registered office in Poznań, ul. Juliusza Słowackiego 18/ 7a i 8, 60-823 Poznań, KRS number: 0000787548. The Controller is the owner of the Website available at gnlaw.pl.
  2. Personal data - any information about an identified or identifiable natural person, in particular on the basis of an identifier such as name and surname, identification number, location data, IP number or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the natural person.
  3. GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC
  4. Website - the website operated by the Controller at gnlaw.pl.
  5. User - a natural person using the Website.

3. Technical requirements

In order to use the Website it is necessary to have a device with access to the Internet and correctly configured web browser, e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer.

4. Rules of using the Website

Using the Website is free of charge.
The User is obliged to use the Website in accordance with the law and good practice, taking into account intellectual property rights. It is prohibited to post unlawful content on the Website.
The Website, including its content and structure, is copyrighted and is subject to protection. The User is authorized to use the Website for their own personal use - thus, it is prohibited to use the content published on the Website for commercial purposes.
The User is obliged not to undertake any actions that would affect the correct operation of the Website.

5. Purposes and grounds for processing personal data and categories of processed data

We process personal data for the purpose of:

  1. Provision of services by electronic means in the scope of making the contents published on the Website available to the Users (on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, i.e. for the purpose of performing the agreement covering the provision of services by electronic means by the Controller through the Website).
  2. keeping statistics and conducting analyses in order to improve the Controller's activity (on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e. for the purpose of conducting analyses of activity on the Website and improving the applied functionalities, which is a legitimate interest of the Controller).
  3. protection against asserted claims (on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e. in order to possibly undertake a justified defence against asserted claims or to establish and assert claims, which is a legitimate interest of the Controller).

We process the following categories of your personal data:

  1. IP address or other identifiers and information collected through cookies or other similar technologies.
  2. In the event of a complaint submitted in connection with the use of the Website, the personal data and/or contact details provided in the complaint submission.

6. Recipients of personal data

We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • entities servicing and managing our IT system,
  • entities supporting the Controller's activity,
  • state authorities or other entities authorized by law.

7. Transfer of personal data to third countries or international organizations

Your data will be transferred outside the European Economic Area or to international organizations only if necessary and only if the European Commission determines that the third country, or a territory or specific sector within a third country, or the international organization in question ensures an adequate level of protection or if other adequate or appropriate safeguards are put in place, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
The Controller informs you of its intention to transfer personal data to third countries or to international organizations at the stage of their collection.

8. Period of personal data storage

Data processed for the purpose of performing an agreement covering the provision of services electronically will be processed for the duration of the provision of that service, in this case the use of the Website.
We process data processed on the basis of our legitimate interest until the purpose for which they are processed is fulfilled or until you raise an effective objection against such processing.
The aforementioned periods may be extended if the processing of personal data is necessary for the purposes of a legitimate defence or for establishing and assertion of potential claims.

9. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data by us, subject to the exceptions provided for by law, including the GDPR, you have the following rights: the right to access your data and receive their copy, the right to rectify (amend) your data, the right to erase your data, the right to restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability, the right to object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data if your personal data are processed on the basis of the consent you have granted (revocation of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the revocation of your consent).

Your application should, if possible, precisely indicate the subject of the request. If we are not able to identify the person submitting the application or determine the content of the request, we will ask the applicant for additional information.
If you believe that we are processing your personal data in violation of the provisions of the GDPR or other legal acts regulating personal data protection, you also have the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

10. Voluntariness of providing data

Providing personal data by you is voluntary. However, if you do not provide data that are necessary, e.g. for specific purposes, this may prevent us from taking appropriate actions.

11. Information on automated processing and profiling

Your personal data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be profiled.

12. Cookie files

Cookies are small text files stored on the User's terminal device. Cookies contain basic information such as the URL of the originating website, the scheduled time of storage on the User's device, a unique number and name. Cookies are used primarily to provide the User with electronic services and to improve the quality of these services.

    • Description: Maintains the User's session on the Website and informs that the User is visiting a page "here and now"; this cookie also protects the Website from possible attacks (e.g. huge number of page refreshes / hits to sub-pages in a very short period of time)

    • Expires after: session ends
    • Originates from: gnlaw.pl
    • Own / external: Own
    • Description: Remembers the content language choice made by the User or through the User's software settings on the device (preferred browser language).

13. Complaint procedure regarding the use of the Website

The User has the opportunity to raise concerns regarding the operation of the Website. For this purpose, the User may submit a complaint to the e-mail address sekretariat@gnlaw.pl or the mailing address: Grzywaczewski Kancelaria Prawna sp. k. with its registered office in Poznań, ul. Juliusza Słowackiego 18/ 7a i 8, 60-823 Poznań. Complaints will be handled within 14 days from the date of their receipt. If we are not able to identify the person lodging the complaint or determine the content of the request, we will ask the User lodging the complaint for additional information.

14. Changes of Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy is reviewed on an ongoing basis and updated as necessary, which the Controller reserves the right to do.
The current version of the Privacy Policy is effective as of 01.07.2022.
